  Kingdoms and Castles

Kingdoms and Castles is a game about the growth of a kingdom from a small village to a sprawling city and an imposing castle.

Your kingdom must survive a living and dangerous world. Do the Viking pirates go with your villagers? Or are they standing, full of arrows, at the gates of the castle? Does a dragon set fire to its barn, its people die of starvation in the winter or can it turn back the beast? The success of your kingdom depends solely on your ability as an urban planner and castle planner.

Strategically design your city to improve the happiness of your farmers and attract new residents. Impose them enough to finance their castle. Make sure your farmers are fed in winter and healed of pests. Build churches to avoid despair and taverns to keep them happy. You can even throw festivals if you have built a square! Send wood cutters to collect wood, install stone quarries to build your castles and cultivate the land efficiently so that your city can grow and thrive.

The new land you are establishing is at risk of a Viking invasion. These invaders seek to kidnap and kill your peasants, steal your resources and burn your city to the ground. Use a powerful castle building system where castles are built using blocks that can be placed anywhere. The towers and walls are created dynamically depending on how they are stacked and organized. The towers of Archer and other weapon emplacements have greater reach the greater your tower. Try different designs to better protect your kingdom and express your glory as king or queen.

And everything takes place in a beautiful dynamic world with a stylized system of clouds in the procedure and a season cycle from summer to winter. A realistic tree growth algorithm simulates forests. Depending on their needs, woodcutters can cut or manage their forests responsibly.
